I directed and designed the original animation that played along with the The Little Mermaid Live at the Hollywood Bowl. As the film played on large screens and a orchestra played the score we, at Mousetrappe, extended scenes and created original animation. For each show number live performers took over and we created original animated show numbers. The evening was set as a DRIVE, I mean DIVE, in movie theater and all original designs and animation where set in a bold limited illustration style inspired by everything from Saul Bass to 80’s beach parties.
